The seafront that extends from the old port of Trieste to the Barcola embankment, until now given over to industry and logistics, will be transformed into a green space dedicated to commercial spaces and leisure.

The area will be delimited by circular elements recalling the waves of the sea and allow for the integration of spaces for events, children’s play areas, playgrounds and areas given over to parks.

Native Mediterranean-type tree species with low irrigation needs will be planted throughout the area.
